The Sugartown Festival and Street Faire celebrates Crockett's community, history and local flair with a full day of great food, fun activities and high energy music from two stages, the main stage and the community stage.

At 1pm from the main stage, Contra Costa's very own Very Bad Boys will officially open the main stage with their own brand of very good eclectic rock n roll. At 3:00, the 20-piece Da Island Way will transport the crowd to the islands with their beautiful and entertaining Polynesian music and dance. Then at 5:00pm, dancing shoes will ignite with the infectious rhythms, soulful singing and trademark Louisiana sounds of the Zydeco Flames. Continuously bringing down the house, The Zydeco Flames have rightfully gained a reputation as the West Coast's premiere Zydeco band. Their unique sound and broad appeal has everyone from die-hard Zydeco dancers to fans of the blues, R & B, and swing loving the Flames.

The Community Stage starts at 11:00 am and features local and youth talent including Monsters Are Not Myths, Blue Sky, Last One Picked and Crunchy Frog.

In addition to the stellar musical line-up, there will be great local food, a farmers market, wine, Lagunitas beer, arts and crafts, and a kids zone with hula hoop training. There will also be costume contests and prizes for the Sugartown king and queen (all ages), and Sugartown Princess (ages 4-10) Sugarplum Fairy (ages 0-3) at the Community Stage at 12:30 and a "Sugartown Idol" singing contest held throughout the day on the Main Stage! Vocalists will compete for the Sugartown Idol Title with preselected well known and popular "SUGAR" themed songs and are encouraged to get their friends out their to donate at $1 a vote. Proceeds from the Idol singing contest will go to support the Carquinez Middle School Music Program. An all day non-stop party, the Sugartown Festival and Street Faire promises to be one Sweeeet event!!!
