Where is a good Recording Studio in the Bay Area?

My kid is coming up from LA and will record a song. He has been using StudioWaves in Oakland mainly for convenience and price.

....Just wondering if you have any recent experience with other recording studios?

You'll find that Red House Studios in Walnut Creek is an excellent place to record. Ask Johnny Nitro. He just did a live recording on their stage last Saturday night.

Thanks Susan, I'll check with the Red House! Hopefully, I don't have to join to use their nice facilites...The kids are night owls and sometimes work 24x7, so I am not sure if that's available there.
