I love the Rootsie Reggae also. A lot of my tone is influenced by Reggae. That Blues Band is seeking players at this time. We consist of hellacious drummer and bass player who doesn't have a voice but sings anyway because I have to. Guitarists, keyboardists, vocalists, harp, horns and percussion are welcome to join in. This project is located in the California Delta region and is seeking musicians as local as possible. We play covers that are obscure enough that they can be called our own. But I remind you they are covers. Forget Stormy Monday. If you are available either Tues or Weds evenings, this is when we rehearse. JG & I are going to try each other out in the near future. Perhaps a second guitarist or even a keyboardist would fit in. (We have PA for rehearsal purposes only for right now). PA system for rentals or hire in the near future for small clubs and private parties will soon be availalble - will let you know when. "That Blues Band" project is mainly to host a jam session in the East Contra Costa County region through Knightson. Thanks for the glance.

Wow! That Blues Band has just found their guitar player.
We auditioned a guitar player last night Oct 14th. It was one of the most fun auditions I have ever been a part of. The band sounds great and we had it all together even though some of the tunes were unknown to the man. Joel is going to be a lot of fun, a pleasure and an honour to work with just like it is with Mike, the drummer. I feel we can make an impact in this county in the Blues scene. My idea is to be a host band at a Blues jam. I think we might be able to take it a little further.
